Antebellum Log House (moved when the schools were built) that sat once sat behind Howell Elementary, east of Cox Middle, just west of Tom Sharp Rd.. just up from Bear Creek pike. There is a mountain biking and hiking trail there now called 'Berm Wood Trail'.
