This is a wonderful collection of now-dilapidated barns just north of Frederick, Maryland, at the intersection of Mountaindale Rd and Rte. 15.

This is my families farm. My grandparents lived in this house. My parents and I lived in the next farm house down the road. My father still lives on the farm. The road was later moved to go straight past the house instead of the sharp right turn in front of the house and down past the houses on Mountaindale Ct.

7236 Mountaindale Rd., Frederick. Apparently, the old house's address was 7218, according to Todd Adkins.

I was told by a member of the Glen Eaves family that they farmed here before moving to Oak Rd in Woodsboro. Not sure if they owned or rented.

I was born and raised there.

It’s not 7236 MWARD66

ToddA, I use the address that is the closest available. Many people don't want their address known and try to hide it. Also, many people will comment "that's my grandpa's place" without ever saying where it's located. I was unable to find an address on the old house or on the mailbox across the street using Google maps. The address I provided, if you enter it in Google maps, will show a good overall picture of the farm. I simply try to give people the best idea of where to find a particular location. Glad you could enlighten us, further. It's a shame that the place is in such disrepair, because it was a beautiful place. I went by it many times in the late '70's and early '80's.
