The southwest corner of Oberlin Elyria Rd (old Rt 20) and Hale Rd (in the background). This was the Leonard farm in the 1950s. The small business across the street is now PC Automotive. The abandoned Twining Ford building would be off the photo to the lower left.

The Junk Yard was Ray Heath's (hope I spell the right). Ray's was the newer house in front. This had to be shortly before that big barn burnt, hot bail I think. They sold the farm house after that, n entrance moved to his house. The yard closed in the 80's after he passed away.

This was never Ray Heath's house, that information is incorrect. Ray was another half mile down the road. This was our family's property. This farm was owned by Dwight "Blinky" Rosecrans when that picture was taken. When he passed in 1966 his daughter Treva and her husband Floyd Bailey took it over. Dwight had a junk yard eventually waned out of existence. The house is a 'Sears house' and still stands today. Part of the field is now the new four lane highway and cloverleaf connecting 511 and Routes 10 &20. Part of the ground floor of the barn still stands. The rest of the buildings and the neighboring farmhouse on the left was demolished years ago. Barr's Market was across the street when I was a kid until Paul Cole bought the property making it his home and PC Automotive.
