My grandparents, John and JoAnn Schroeder, bought this farm in 1956 from Adam Statz. At that time it had only a smaller barn, pig barn and smaller house. Over the years the barn and house were added on to along with the addition of a calf shed and shop. In 1992 the claf shed shown (middle of picture) was torn down and replaced with a newer shed. In 2000 John and JoAnn sold the farm to their son, Mike. Mike still lives on the farm and continues to milk and farm there. The farm is located just outside Alma Center on Schroeder Rd.
