We have lived in this home since November 2013. Our neighbor Shawn Sayre grew up in this home and he and his brother have told us many stories about the history of the house and their experiences. The house was built in 1843 at Lock 10 in Buffalo originally, moved to its current location in the 1860’s and eventually had rooms added on.

Hi there! It's fascinating to hear about the rich history of your home in Mason County! The aerial photo we have was taken in 1984, capturing a snapshot of the past. Do you happen to remember any specific details about the property during that time? It would be interesting to know if there were any noticeable changes or if it still retained its original charm. Also, were there any types of farming activities happening on the property? We'd love to learn more about your connection to this historic home.

We’ve made significant improvements to the home, including all new electrical, plumbing, all 28 windows, storm doors (we’ve tried to salvage the outside doors), a brand new kitchen in April 2023, just to name a few. It does look some different than it does in this picture but I don’t think I can post another picture to this listing?
