Scott Homeplace, Now gone. Located in the Peninsulas.

This was my grandparents farm. At one time it was about 3500 acres. Most of it is under Lake Bob Sandlin and Bob Sandlin Park.

This was the my great grandaddy Green & Lizzy SCOTT they had 10 children.
My grandfather John Wesley (Bill) Scott was the last to pass...sadly it was sold off after 5 generations. The home place became THE PENINSULA'S.Some of the Scott's still own land in the area. At one time Green Scott was one of if not, the largest land owners in Titus Co. Extending into Camp Co. too.
