I owned this property at time of the photo, and still own and live here.
Hello Bear! It's fascinating to hear that you still own and live on the property featured in our aerial photo from 1992. Do you have any memories or stories you'd like to share about Guadalupe County back then? We'd love to hear about how the area has changed over the years, or if you've been involved in any particular farming activities.
Actually, this property is in Hays county. This photo must have been taken in early '92. That trailer was placed there in December of '91. You can still see the muddy tracks of the truck from moving it in there. We had 11 inches of rain the last half of December. That trailer has been gone for 15 years and replaced with a wood frame house. The area behind us (to the top of the photo) is now 200 acres of wildlife refuge.
