This is the house I grew up in from the age of 13..till out of college..my parents had this built in 1971-72... Ralph and Betty Barrett... The Truck you see in the picture was an old Ford... that they had painted (Black/Gold.. Vanderbilt) with my Football number on it (#16) during my years as an athlete at Vandy. My father and brothers and I built the barn from ground up in the pasture area.... and of course my Mom...always had a garden area you can see that is recently tilled.... My parents raised and showed German Shepard's... and that is the Building you see behind the house with the concrete runs in the front and covered area for the Dogs to get in during bad weather... The house is still there today (2018) but many changes have occurred.... Thank VA for allowing me to bring back this very fond memory of my childhood
