Dad's Restuarant was located next door to Stuckey's. Dad's was also big into Fireworks. Fireworks were sold at that location until 2 or 3 years ago. Stuckey's and Dad's had a connection. Dad's was more of the usual sit down restuarant.

Yes, we started serving this site with Shell products in 1983. My family bought this site and rebuilt it in 1992 as Almaville Shell. We sold the site to Tristar/Daily’s in 2015. The poles from this Dads sign are all that remain and support a rusty β€œFireworks” sign today. Carol (Haynes?) was the entrepreneur who had living quarters at the rear of the store. Carol’s father built the store while working with Stuckies in Eastmond, GA.
The semi is parked on what is Courier Drive today. The former Stuckeys location is a McDonalds today.

This is so neat! I use the USPS box in the gas station lot all the time. There is a Sonic where those vehicle carriers are in the picture.
