Board farm at obion.
I grew up in the old house-all the buildings are gone now. House was built in the late 1800s. The barn on the bottom right was the mule barn.
Hi there! It's fascinating to hear about your childhood memories at that old house in Obion County! We'd love to learn more. What kind of farming did you do at the time? Were there any specific crops you grew or animals you raised? Feel free to share any other details you remember from that era. We appreciate your insights!
My parents and brother still farm there! We moved into the old house in January 1969. Dad raised cattle, hogs, and row cropped corn, wheat, and soybeans. They still have corn and soybeans on that farm. Mr. Frank Board owned it at the time. It is now owned by his daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
