This was the Roberts family home and working farm for 10 years. When my parents purchased the farm East Brainerd Road was gravel. It was an amazing place to grow up. My sister and I went to Apison Elementry between 1970-1978.

If you lived in the Parker's Gap area between 1970-1975 you may remember the motor cross races and motor cycle hillclimb that made local news. Thousands of people showed up for these events.

We were told that a former post office operated on our farm at one time. When my parents first bought the farm, they found out moonshine was sold from our house. Needless to say, we had a few adventures.

The home and 150 acres were sold in 1977. These owners let the house fall apart. It has since been leveled to the ground and all the trees around the house are gone. The 150 acres have since been subdivided and a TrueValue Hardware store is now in what once was grazing land for cattle and horses.
