This is 1315 Ridge Rd in Ridgeville SC. I purchased the home in 2016 from folks who bought it from the family estate and it was not inhabited at that time. It was built in 1914. A nephew of the original family stated that the house suffered a fire on that room on the right hand side-it is no longer there. What appears to be a large screened in porch off the back is no longer there. The people we bought it from did an extensive rehab to it. We added a back bathroom. This was originally a 5 acre farm. The original owner, Polly Mizell, Gave her sister 2 acres on the right hand side. She built the house in 1990. There is a workshop on the right hand side that was built in the 1950s that I am assuming is underneath all of the tree coverage. The oak trees in magnolia trees and pine trees haven’t grown up extremely beautiful since this picture was taken. And there’s several more outbuildings on the property now. We were told that there was a large barn in the back towards the right hand side that was torn down at some point in time.
