495 Herbst Rd., Red Lion PA. This was my childhood home until age 19. It was mostly built by my grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Herbst a/k/a Frank, in 1943. He had a stroke and passed away before it was finished. My Uncle John Herbst finished the house, and my dad, Sterling Smith, provided more finishing touches starting in 1946 when he married my mom. They raised 7 children in this tiny house. This was the "Smith" house until Dec. 2018, when my parents' estate was settled.

I still have the vintage milk tin from that porch and three of those concrete cones from the garden border πŸ™‚.

Hello Jessica,
Is that an old antenna in the bottom right corner of the photo?

Nathan, that was our wash line. It rotated around like an antenna though! :)

Very Interesting. Thanks
