This larger house used to be along S. George St about a mile north of Jacobus, PA. Lake Williams is right behind in, but the wayer level must be low at the time. The smaller house on the near side of the road is still there. Both eventually bacame owned by the York Water Company. The larger one was vacant for many years and then torn down in approximately 2010 after the water company determined it would be too costly to restore.
