This farm belonged to my paternal grandparents and before that was belonged to my paternal grandfather's father. My father was born and grew up here along with most of his siblings. My uncle owned it for many years after my grandparents. Part of the house is supposedly built of logs.

This was my families farm. My mother, her siblings, and my grandparents lived here. I have many wonderful childhood memories of this farm.

This beautiful, historic barn and property is slated for development. It is in horrific disrepair with the beautiful barn near collapse. The Orwigsburg Historical Society has attempted to save the house and barn with no success. This has become a very sad story.
