This is the east end of the village of Pillow in Dauphin County. State Route 225 is known as Market Street when it passes through Pillow. This series of photos shows the buildings on the south side of the street. Mulberry Alley runs across the top. The two houses on the right are located at 157 and 149 Market Street. The two connected houses on the corner of Market and Chestnut Streets form the James Reed Funeral Home at 135 Market Street. (Chestnut Street is the continuation of State Route 225, which leads south out of Pillow toward Berryburg.) The house to the left is 129 Market Street. This photo was taken facing south.
