This is the center end of the village of Pillow in Dauphin County. State Route 225 is known as Market Street when it passes through Pillow. This series of photos shows the buildings on the south side of the street. Mulberry Alley runs across the top. The houses from right to left are located at 205, 201, and 195 Market Street. Next is the former BB&T Bank, which is now listed as the Pillow Fire Company Hall. Next to that are houses located at 189 and 183 Market Street. Finally, the large square building is the National Hotel Pillow, which was established by John Boyer in 1854. This photo was taken facing south.
