I was one of thirteen children born and raised on this farm. The picture is as I remember I that day.

My father, Marvin Kanagy, was a brother to Floyd (above) and took over the dairy when his parents, Norman and Rachel Kanagy, retired and moved to Belleville, PA, just down the road. I was raised by my parents here along with two sisters until around 1994 when my parents sold the farm and moved to Reedsville, PA. Andrew Charney from State College, PA purchased the farm and still owns it today. Dairy farmers now rent the barn and house. The original house that is pictured was torn down along with the out buildings.
