This beautiful stone farmhouse and outbuildings still stands in the 1800 block of Route 441 and is not completely visible from the road. It is south of Bainbridge but north of Rowenna. Notice the railroad tracks cutting through the property. To this day, the farmer must cross the railroad to get to the fields closer to the Susquehanna River. This is the only private RR Crossing I am aware of that has a right of way. The Susquehanna is just beyond the treeline in the top of the photo.
