In 2023 all of the buildings and any trace of anyone ever living there is gone. The land has been all torn up to plug old gas wells and install a vent for the coal mine. We lived there from 1973 to early 2023.

Everything being gone makes it very hard to pinpoint the exact location. Can you provide any details on where this was?

The intersection of Tower Road, Morris Road, and Brook Hollow Road in Washington Twp., Greene County. ( Many GPS devices recognize Tower Road as being a Sycamore Post Office address, but that is ONLY the other end of it. Prosperity Post Office is correct for the three roads named above. )

Also, across Tower Road from our land, there is a 365-foot-tall AT&T communications very sturdy tower with those huge shield antennas. It has been there for at least 55 or 60 years. Oh, perhaps I didn't include the address in my post here. It is/was 286 Tower Road, Prosperity, Pa. 15329. ( Remember most GPS units will want to call this 286 Tower Road, Sycamore. I tried to get Mapquest to correct this. But they didn't. ) ( Done, I think. )

Thank you for all the information. I have pinned the location on the map. Does it look correct? The house appears to be still there on Google Maps satellite imagery (2024).

Nathan Lewis, yes, you have the location correct. I looked at that image on Google Maps. Despite the "2024" designation at the bottom of the picture ---- That picture has to be several years old. ( ?? prior to 2021 ?? ) I sold the white truck seen in the photo in mid-2021. )
