This looks like Ruff Creek Gas station much like it stands today. I have no idea what they piles are that are seen on top of the photo. And if this is Ruff Creek there are not more trees where trees are in the picture now.

That is Ruff Creek, and those are gravel piles. Taken 1973 !

Ray and his wife Karen ran this general store for many years. I worked nearby for ten years and filled the gas tank many times at these pumps. There was a benchmark plate in front of the store that was placed while Interstate 79 was under construction. It opened from Waynesburg to Morgantown in about 1972
