I was raised here. We moved here when I was 1 1/2 years old, in 1954. At the time it was owned by Mummerts meeting house. We were the caretakers. Since this photo was taken the house has had an addition, and the old barn was replaced by a large pole building. The old pigpen, milkhouse, and summer house are still standing. 1875 was the year scratched into a section of the cement at the corncrib. I'm thinking the house was built prior to that. Really old property.
