We bought this property in 1991. 50 acres. The original allotment was 160 acres of Cherokee land, deeded to Effie Scoggins. 50 acres of this was purchased by the Wallis family in 1922. Mr. Wallis was born in this house in 1923, and passed away in this house in 196?. His widow, Mildred, sold it to us.
