This is my childhood home. Mom still lives there and both Jim and I have homes on the same property. There is another hangar to the left of the one pictured. The house is the same but trees were planted in the yard. The man walking on the sidewalk halfway between the house and hangar was dad. He passed away last year 10/08/2022

Hi Jerry! Thank you for sharing your memories of your childhood home. It's fascinating to hear how the property has evolved over the years. Do you happen to recall any specific details about Creek County in the late 1980s or any notable changes that have occurred since then? We'd love to hear more about your experiences growing up there. We're glad you were able to see your dad in the photo.
I have lived here since 1978/1979 and a lot has changed. The road out front is no longer made of dirt, highway 33 actually has shoulders now, and Happy Corner isnβt a makeshift building any more. A lot of the folks from this area I knew as a child have passed away, and even some of their kids. There is a lot less air traffic than there used to be now that the older pilot friends have gone on. The house from the next picture on the roll is still there, but empty. It was Patricia and Dennis Constantinoβs home. The house from the same roll but before my house has been burned. It was Nancy and Kenneth Rowell.
