That was my home as a young boy. My parents, grandparents and other family built the house. The large barn on the upper left was not the original barn when we moved from there in 1986. The large, two story dairy barn burnt down in 1988. The farm has never been the same since. You can see where the old barn was buried. The bard behind the silo was built sometime around 1983. I use to climb the rafters. The little barn on the far right was the baby calf barn. I remember when my father and uncle moved it away from the road by about 100ft. We completely remodeled it. There use to be a 3 rail, split-rail fence towards the bottom and right of the house. We would put our dry cows there. It was truly a beautiful place to grow up and raise Jersey cows. So many wonderful memories. I wish we had photos of the farm when the big barn was there. I remember when a plane flew over and the man came to sell my mother the photo. She said no because there were clothes on the line. She now regrets that decision.
