This is the house that we moved into in October 1968. I recognize the house layout, the 2 pine trees and maple tree in front of the house. The Willow tree behind the house. In the mid 70's we built a 22ftx32ft pole barn garage next to the willow just about where the car is located. Since then, things have changed a lot. Originally, the house was known as the old Wilson home. South of us was the Kibler Farm and then Wilkes Road - borderline for Rootstown and Randolph. Today, we still own the house and my brother is living there. In 1972, a split-level home was built on the north side just next door. In this picture, the fenced in area (upper left corner) is where the new house was built on 5 acres as 2882 State Route 44 while our house had 1 acre (completed the 6 acre plot) at 2872 State Route 44. In 1997, my dad bought the split level home so we now have 2 houses on 6 acres (2872 and 2882) under the name of Swanigan.
