This is the McCurdy Homestead on North Forest Hill Rd. The land was cleared by Sam, Alec and Robert McCurdy and perhaps their father Robert post 1848 when Robert emigrated from Ireland and came to America. Other historic McCurdy land surrounds it to the north west and east.
