This is Jewett-Scio HS.
In 1972 when I started going here in March as a first grader our first grade classroom was right beside a row of HS lockers and a few of the HS boys chose some of us as their "little girlfriends". We would see them kissing their big girlfriends in the halls. My how things have changed. The play ground was behind the school up on a hill. You can see the drive that you had to walk up to get there. There were metal fire escape stairs outside of some of the rooms that we used to go in and out of the building to get to recess sometimes. Those doors were left unlocked and children went in and out as needed during that time. They were also left open during the day to let the air move. School doors are locked up tight all day during school hours now.
