House was severely flooded during Hurricane Isabel and abandoned. In 2005 Mark and Kathy Hierholzer purchased the house and property from Pamela Mason and renovated it over the next 11 years. It was elevated in 2016/17, and the roof replaced in 2017. The house is lovely now and used by the owner as an art studio and weekend respite.
