The Food Mart
This is the food mart on the corner of us 501 and red mountain rd at the stop light in Rougemont nc.It is the original location of a large country store owened by John Poole.named Pooles store.It was torn down in the early 70's when the road was widened to 5 lanes from 2.i do not know who owns it now,but it is still operating.
