This is our property now! This farm was bought by Mary & Clifford (Slim) Loveland in the 1950's and they built this house (replacing the old original house) in 1958. They continued to live on the farm for decades. The Missouri archives have a lot of fun newspaper clippings about them. Eventually their kid(s) owned the property...a couple more sales and we now own it (not the full farm but many acres along with the house & buildings. Several things have changed but the house, the smaller (2 stall) garage that is in front of the house and the open shed by the muck pond remain. The larger long garage parallel to that open shed was rebuilt ~5 years ago. The big shed close to the road was destroyed by tornado and whipped into the woods at the front of the photo (it's still there).
