Tri-County Truck Stop. Hwy AT (former U.S. 66-U.S. 50) and Old Hwy 100. Villa Ridge, MO. This was the site of the original Diamond's that Spencer Groff built up from a simple banana stand in the 20's. This building replaced the original that was destroyed by fire in 1948. Old Hwy 100 can be seen curving to the right of the complex. The main restaurant structure still stands but is abandoned, often vandalized and is reportedly haunted.
