This is the first home of Arnold and Elizabeth (Burch) Fischer. They raised their children Peggy and Dean in this home. In 1973, when Dean married Kathie (Holt) Fischer they moved and built a new home on the highway. Dean and Kathie lived here with their 3 children until they moved east to the H.A. Fischer homestead and built a new home in 1987. This little house and surrounding trees and buildings were removed and this incorporated into the larger field.
