This farm belonged to Maurice Strom, my grandpa. After Edna Strom passed away at the age of 102 the family sold the farm. I have many wonderful memories from this place. Whether it was playing ball with my cousins or hunting deer for 20+ years with friends and family, this place will always have a special place in my heart. I'm also fascinated by the man standing by the garage door - this could be Maurice, my grandpa who passed in 1994. He never passed up an opportunity to watch any airplanes flying by! I believe the house was built in 1977 and the original farm house is directly behind the windmill. The small building to the left was the kitchen that was detached from the house and was used for storage. Those structures originally sat directly in front of the current home. I'm so glad I came across this photo!
