This is known as 'The Four Corners' (south of Norwood, MN) due to the presence of four families building farmsteads near the corner. The farm in the center was settled by my Wolter ancestors in 1859 after their arrival from Germany. The abundance of trees may be a remnant of the 'Big Woods' that covered the area in earlier times. Regrettably, the Chaska brick farmhouse, built in 1875, is no longer standing nor are any of the other visible structures. Since 2014 the farm is no longer in our family.

Hello Christopher,
Would you happen to know what the crossroads in this photo are?

Hi Nathan, The road leading south from Norwood is County Road 33 and the east-west road is County Road 50. The property address is 14950 County Road 33. The camera is facing northwest.

Got it pinned. Thanks!
