This is how the farm looked when my family moved there in the spring of 1971. We lived there until the winter of 1975. The house had been vacant for a few years and needed a lot of work. The barn was solid and just needed some paint. The sheds were all in rough condition. The hog barn was in decent shape and the windmill was still functional. There were plum and apple trees behind the house.

Although we only lived there for five years, they were my formative years and many of my best lifetime memories came from this farm. Way too many memories to list in this small space.
