My Great Great and Great Grandfathers bought this farm in 1885. My grandfather, my father and his brother were born in this house. John C Davis was the first owner. Davis also plated the Village of Davisburg in 1856. Cornelius Davis, John C's father, settles all of Section 17 in 1835.
