Elmer Novak & family residence 2046 Rauch Rd.
This is the farm I grew up in. 2046 Rauch road, Ida Township, Monroe County, Michigan. My siblings and I attended Ida Public Shools in Ida, Michigan.
The outbuilding on either side of the barn are missing. The barn itself was taken down in the early 90's.
And the chicken coop is gone now too... dust beetles and bad roof.
The poor growth area at the upper left is where spoils from the ditch 'cleaning' by the Drain Commission around 1960 were dispersed. The property owner was stuck with spreading it on their land and you can still see the results 60 years later.
