I grew up in this house, which is in the middle of my Grandparents farm. The farm and this property were sold to Howard County in 1996, and would be turned into the Western Regional Park. I still go there today and walk our old farm.

When it was sold to the county, did they remove the home? What type of farming did your grandfather do here?

When we sold, the county removed my grandparents home, my parents home, and my uncles home.
The farm was mainly for crops (corn, soy beans, straw), but we had chickens (averaging about 50 for eggs), horses, and at one point cattle.
