This farm was my parents Raymond and Carolyn Cox, located on the Monroe Road in West Winterport. The farm was sold to Bob Patterson in 1976. My father was deceased in 73 and my mother married Roger Wingate in Thorndike, ME and they still live on the Files Hill Rd.Both chicken barns have been taken down and the house was moved back onto a new foundation near the old boiler room in the late 80's. There was a garage built in the late sixties and is still located to the right of the house between the road and the big chicken barn.

Sure brings back wonderful memories visiting my Uncle Raymond and Aunt Carolyn and my cousins! My Uncle Raymond always told me that walking barefoot in the chicken barn would put hair on my chest. Still brings a chuckle to my mind. Was it true? I'll never tell.
