this is Andrews funeral home and home across the rd is Marta Clements home

When this was taken the house was a duplex with an extra bedroom on the west where you see the roof extended. We first lived on the east side then moved to the west side (1964 or 65) and the Garthies (Dave, Donna? and two boys Doug & Danny I think) moved in on the east for a while. It was converted to a single family dwelling in the early 1980s. Garage on the right was for the hearse and the ambulance, Lenwood "Pete" Andrews ran the ambulance service for the area for years before turning it over to the town. Pete owned the duplex and preferentially rented it to his ambulance drivers (like my father) so they'd be quickly available when needed. Pete and Hazel lived in the residence part of the funeral home, his parents Harlan and Jessie lived in the house at bottom left at the time.
