This was my Mother Ada Hatton Rogers Home. She bought it off of Clark & Gertrude "Gerty" Hatton. My Grandmother Doshie Caudill Hatton bought a Trailer and moved it it behind My Mother's Home when she sold the Old Hatton Farm on up the road. The Hatton Creek Church at this time didnt have the front Entrance that was built on later. The Old Oak Tree that is there in the front is still standing, it is well over 200 years old. The Church was also a School House for the Hatton Creek Kids. This was built in 1919. The other school building set down where my Grandmother's Trailer set down in the back yard, they tore it down when they built the new one. The Fence that was around my Mother's place has since also been tore down. My Mother Passed away in 2014, and her place was left to me and my brother Danny. After James Hatton Left the Church in the 80's it went to his brother Little Hatton, then after he left the church because of sickness, he handed it down to his sister Margaret Hatton Congleton, after years of having Church there, and she then got older and couldnt take care of it any longer she decided to sell it, asking us first if we would like to buy it, where our Mother's Property joined it, and we did. It will be taken care of and is a big part of the Hatton Family, and The Hatton Creek History.
