We bought this farm in 1998 and still live here. It was the Perry Evans Farm and so many people we have met throughout the years have stories to tell about hanging tobacco in this barn, etc. We lost this barn this past year on May 1st due to straight line winds.

This is the only home I remember having. Dad built this house 1949. I lived here until I married & moved to Louisville. Still

consider it home. My brother built his house over the hill on part of the cornfield. He still lives there. Sarah E. Adams

Tobacco was never hung in this barn. The upper barn was used for tobacco & so was the barn across from the bridge opposite of where the house sits. This was my home until I married & my dad owned this property since 1936. Its the only home I remember living in, the older house was torn down to build the new in spring of 1949.

This was the farm of my Uncle Perry and Aunt Gladys Evans. Aunt Gladys was my father's half sister. I visited there many times in the 1950's and 60's, especially for family dinners in the Christmas season. Good memories!
