My grandfather, Ralph Perry Morris, built this house on his parent's, James Martin and Pearl Duvall Morris, farm when he married my grandmother Sarah Myrtle (nee Gillock). Their 5 children, Robert Nelson, Arnold Maxwell, Carroll Richard, Betty Lane (Barnett), and Freida Ann (Webb) were all born here.

The lake seen in the background of this photo was formed in the 1960's when the Barren River Dam was built.

My mother was Sylvia Carter Bray she and Betty Lane remained friends till her death in July of 2020.
