I believe this iis the home of Herbert and Lucille Bettis, my great uncle and great aunt on the Hiteman Road, Albia, IA.

Herbert and Lucille Bettis bought this farm from Joe Homerin in 1942. Larry, Linda, and Lloyd were born in this house; I was born at Grandma Laidlaw's in Albia, and Les was born in the Monroe County Hospital. Mom lived there 71 years before she moved in December 2012. Les and Sue Bettis now own it and have remodeled extensively.
