My grandfather once owned this farm and I lived there several years as a child. My father built the two buildings to the right of the cattle yard when we lived there in the early 70's. The barn in the background, behind the silos, was sold to an individual in the Des Moines area. He came and dismantled the barn to recycle the timbers for a house he was building at the time. We called the farm the Beranek Place after one of the prior owners. The blue harvester had the Kintzle name on it and said Boulder View Farm -for the large boulder in the foreground. It was integrated into the fence for the cattle yard -we spent lots of time playing on that rock. The house was razed after 2010 -my cousin, Shawn Kintzle, rented the house for many years.
