What type of farming did your grandparents do here?

I had to get Grandma's late 50's diary out!
Cattle, pigs, chickens & milk cows.
Grew oats, corn, alfalfa, beans, sorghum & hay.
Grandma had a garden, of course. Tomato, potato, sweet potato, strawberries, beans, peas, melons, sweet corn & cucumbers.
