Dora Christian Church.

I went to church there in 1961 when it was still in Dora. I remember them moving this church to this location. Pastor Waggoner was there. I was a walking talking doll in the Christmas program directed by his wife in 1961 with the Oppy kids, whos grandparents owned the Dora store. I can remember Pastors wife playing that piano as we sang hymns.

Gladys Waggoner taught piano lessons to my sister and me. We went to the church in Dora, too. In Dora, we had to use outhouses. When the church was moved, due to the construction of the Salamonie Reservoir, theyput in indoor plumbing. I remember going to Dora and crossing the covered bridge.

I remember skating under that bridge. How old are you, maybe we knew each other. I remember the outhouses too. We lived in DOra in 1961-62. I went to Lincolnville school. We lived across the road from the Oppy family.I am straining my brain about your name, did you happen to live in Dora?

I don't recognize your name. My family (Thomas) lived on the Dora Road, not in Dora but only a mile or two away. FArm was basically on Dora road and what is now the Salamonie dam Road. I am 61.

Me too. Did you go to Lincolnville School? My teacher was Mrs. Wrap. We had first and second grade in the same classroom. Did you know the Oppy kids> I remember the Terrill farm up the road from us. Were you near them? They had a horse named Tequilla who started my passion for horses.
