Contos Brothers Vegetable Farm in 1980. Purchased in 1940s was an operating dairy farm before 1940.

This was the home of the family of Bill and Evelyn Contos, owners of the farm on Breen Road Jackson Township, IL, just south of Joliet, IL. I grew up there with my brothers and sister. The farm was sold in 1997 and has undergone significant changes in that time. The barns and sheds are gone. The corn crib, windmill and house still sand. The house has been significantly changed. The entire area is the planning area of the North Point warehouse site and may be gone soon.
