This farm was owned by 6 generations of Matthews-Jacob, John L, Clara Matthews Copenhaver(who sold off the house and most of the outbuildings) the land was owned by Lawrence(Larry) Matthews and now owned by his son and grandsons. The barn in left lower corner was the Horse barn built in 1889. It was torn down. The big barn belongs to the landowners. The silo is gone. There is a "crick" at the back and there was a railroad to the left (north) of the house.
